Without a doubt, 2020 was a year that kept us all on our toes.
For residents at Franklin Carriage House, those toes will be warmer this winter thanks to Darn Tough, the Northfield, VT-based sock manufacturer.
Darn Tough donated a dozen pair of their 100% merino wool socks to residents, who received them Christmas Day as part of their holiday celebration.
After more than nine months of successfully dealing with a variety of COVID-19-related rules and limitations, Carriage House residents not only made it onto the nice list this Christmas, but also the patient, understanding, and flexible lists. They showed just how darn tough they are by getting through the year with their positive attitudes intact and their willingness to continue putting up the good fight as we get through the pandemic together.
Darn Tough’s donation is a much-appreciated way of saying “thanks” to our residents for making this time of quarantine easier and more bearable.
Many thanks to Darn Tough for their support, as well as for providing Vermonters with great jobs and high-quality products made right here in the Green Mountain State.
